For target shooters looking for a very forgiving compound bow, the Bowtech Brigadier compound bow is a great choice. It comes with a generous brace height and a long axle-to-axle length, making it more than ideal for target shooting. With a Centertrac binary cam system and a vibration-dampening feature, it’s a force to be reckoned with.
Things to consider before buying
The Bowtech Brigadier compound bow features a carbon rod string stop, which helps to greatly dampen vibrations. In terms of shock and vibration with this bow, there is virtually none. Now, this bow does have somewhat of a small valley, which is something to look out for, but it does have a really solid back wall at full draw. The draw stop is more or less infinitely adjustable to help suit an archer’s needs.
The Bowtech Brigadier compound bow comes with a Centertrac binary cam system, which is ideal for smooth and steady shots. Moreover, this is a bow that is super easy to tune and adjust. With the draw length being adjustable in half-inch increments from 25 to 30 inches, an adjustable draw stop, and adjustable let off, it’s a bow designed to meet the specific needs of various shooters.
The forgiving brace height and the massive axle-to-axle length make this bow very large and heavy, and while it’s not ideal for tight shooting positions or hunting, it does make for a great target shooting bow. It’s not an overly quiet bow either, but that said, it does feature a high level of durability and longevity. The Bowtech Brigadier compound bow comes with a riser integrated grip complete with wood grain inserts, which is fairly comfortable, but has been known to create minor hand torque issues with some shooters.
