For any archer looking for a bow that is highly adjustable and easy to tune, the Bowtech BT-X 28 compound bow should be considered. It comes a micro sync dial, a rotating cam mod system, and Powershift tech for fine tuning and adjustability. Yes, the bow is a bit expensive, but it also comes with a high level of durability, a decent weight, various draw cycles, and an overall decent FPS rating.
Things to consider before buying
The Bowtech BT-X 28 compound bow is available in 5 different finishes, all of which are fairly durable and resistant to wear and tear. The 31” riser is fairly short, but features a good combination of stability and low weight. It is a bit heavy for a compact bow, but not so heavy to make a huge difference, and the weight does help add some stability to the mix. Thanks to the special riser design, this bow is made to be extremely accurate.
The BT-X 28 has more of an old-school grip, with a narrow base and a wide palm. It might take a bit of time to get used to, but should be quite comfortable overall. The grip can be removed if shooters wish to swap it for a different one. The limbs are made with carbon cores, which does make them a bit heavier than average, but also much more durable and resistant. There are 4 limbs to choose from, each with different draw weights, ranging from 40 to 80 pounds. The 80% let-off helps make shooting easier.
The Bowtech BT-X 28 compound bow features an Overdrive binary cam system with about as much adjustability as possible. The rotating mod system allows for easy draw length adjustments without the need for special tools. The micro sync dials provide extreme fine tuning. The Powershift tech allows shooters to change between 3 distinct draw cycles, thus effectively making this a 3-in-1 compound bow.
