Tremor reviews

The Bear Tremor is a smooth single cam shooter with great adjustability and solid performance. It was made to be an affordable performance bow, and Bear delivers a comfortable, accurate, easy-to-shoot bow that has everything hunters are looking for.

Overview

The Bear Tremor has the EZ3 cam with a whopping 7 inches of draw length adjustments on the rotating module. It’s easy to set up, easy to shoot, and lower-maintenance than a hybrid cam, with excellent efficiency and travel at every length.

It has Max Preload Quad Limbs, with Bear’s famous Zero Tolerance limb pockets, and a more ergonomic riser design than other Bears in its class. It has bi-dimensionally adjustable offset string suppressors on the top and bottom that eliminate noise and vibration on the shot. The Tremor comes with a slim grip on the riser, and a removable rubber grip over that. Archers who want the comfort and insulation of the rubber grip will enjoy the feel, while those who prefer a slimmer grip can simply remove it.

The Bear Tremor is incredibly smooth throughout the draw cycle, and an 80% let-off for great accuracy. It has a relatively small valley, and wants to fly with a decent 322fps. It is available in Realtree Xtra Green (with black limbs) and Shadow/black finishes.

Pros

  • Excellent adjustability
  • Smooth and comfortable shooting
  • Accurate and forgiving
  • Very quiet
  • Good speeds for a single cam bow

Cons

  • Limbs and pockets are only available in black, further limiting color choices
  • Some archers may want to upgrade to a roller guard

Conclusion

The Bear Tremor is a solid performer without a lot of unneeded extras. It’s a great bow in its price range, and the affordability may make it worth adding a few aftermarket accessories. Even as a bare bow, people love shooting the Tremor. It’s smooth, fast, quiet, and comfortable, making it a great hunting or target shooting bow. The combination of performance and reliability, along with ease of use and maintenance, make the Tremor a good bow for hunters of all sizes and ability levels, and it can grow along with your skills.
